About the Program
Veterinary Science is a one year program that is dual enrolled with Bakersfield College. The course offers training in large and small animal care and includes classroom / laboratory instruction and placement in an internship. About the Instructor
- Instructor at ROC since 2022.
- California teaching credential (preliminary) in CTE Agriculture and Natural Resources (preliminary).
- Certificate, Veterinary Technician, Bakersfield College (program's first graduating class!).
- 21 years experience as a Veterinary Technician, including 14 as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
- Worked in emergency medicine and high volume spay and neuter clinic.
- Worked at the City of Bakersfield vaccine clinics.
- Born and raised in Bakersfield; graduated from BHS. Go Drillers!
