Meet Your Instructor: Kyle Kuhlmann
Welcome to Drone Operator & Entrepreneurship at ROC! My name is Kyle Kuhlmann, and I am officially the luckiest person at the Regional Occupational Center, because I get to guide you into the future of aviation and business. Let’s be honest: nobody has more fun in the classroom than we do. My mission is to make sure we maximize every single minute of this program with high-energy, hands-on learning.
The Flight Path So Far
I’m a Bakersfield native who grew up and went to high school right here in town. I later spent ten incredible years down in San Diego before returning home at age 30 to launch my teaching career. Over the years, I’ve gained a mountain of real-world life experience. One of my favorite parts of teaching is being completely transparent about my own journey—sharing the wins, but more importantly, teaching you how to navigate the mistakes I’ve made along the way so you can fast-track your own success.
