About the Program

Veterinary Science is a one year program that is dual enrolled with Bakersfield College. The course offers training in large and small animal care and includes classroom / laboratory instruction and placement in an internship. About the Instructor

Instructor at ROC since 2022.
California teaching credential (preliminary) in CTE Agriculture and Natural Resources (preliminary).
Certificate, Veterinary Technician, Bakersfield College (program's first graduating class!).
21 years experience as a Veterinary Technician, including 14 as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
Worked in emergency medicine and high volume spay and neuter clinic.
Worked at the City of Bakersfield vaccine clinics.
Born and raised in Bakersfield; graduated from BHS. Go Drillers!
