Once a month, a local teacher receives a one thousand dollar check for their classroom provided by MOR Furniture for Less. This month's winner is Lisa Krch. She once was our morning and afternoon anchor at Eyewitness News. Lisa now teaches the Video Production and Advanced Film and Cinema class at the Regional Occupational Center.

Kern High School District (KHSD) students returned triumphantly from the 4-day SkillsUSA California State Conference and Skills Competition held recently in Ontario. Our campus was named a SkillsUSA Chapter of Distinction, but that was only the beginning.
