The morning began with ROC Student Ambassadors meeting and greeting our guest as they arrived.
Brian Andriano, ROC Student Ambassador President, and Ximena Preciado, Vice President, welcomed guests with their take on the leadership and career readiness skills they are learning while at ROC. Student Grace Urmston then gave a speech on her experiences in competing regionally and statewide through her participation in the ROC SkillsUSA chapter.
After Brian Miller, KHSD Supervising Administrator of CTE, presented on ROC's expansion plans and the high school's on-going commitment to Career Technical Education, it was off to see the students in action.
Guests were able to tour seven programs, including Business Banking & Finance, Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Video Production, Ag Diesel Mechanics, Video Game Design, and Robotics.
