CTEC’s Construction Trades students, under the guidance of Mr. Wright, proudly showcased their skills and community spirit by building a float for this year’s Veterans Day Parade. This marks the third consecutive year that students have contributed to this meaningful event, combining craftsmanship with service to honor those who have served our country.
Through this project, students gain hands-on experience in construction and design while learning the importance of giving back to the community. The parade float not only highlighted their technical skills but also reflected the pride and respect CTEC students have for veterans.
Adding to the celebration, the Digital Marketing program’s SkillsUSA American Spirit team provided professional photo and video coverage of the parade. Their work documented the students’ efforts and captured the energy and spirit of the event, giving both the school and the wider community a way to celebrate the occasion.
This collaborative effort between Construction Trades and Digital Marketing students is a great example of how CTEC programs integrate real-world learning with community engagement. By participating in events like the Veterans Day Parade, students develop practical skills, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the value of service, all while honoring the heroes in their community.
