CTEC’s SkillsUSA Leadership Team hosted a Veterans Day Flag Ceremony to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The event brought together students, staff, and local veterans for a meaningful celebration of service, sacrifice, and leadership.
During the ceremony, students and staff shared heartfelt speeches recognizing veterans in attendance and their contributions to the nation. A special Veterans Panel featured guests who spoke about their military service, shared advice, and offered insights to inspire and guide program students considering leadership and career paths.
In addition to the speeches and panel discussion, students and staff placed American flags around the CTEC campus, creating a visual tribute to show appreciation and remembrance for all who have served. The ceremony reflected CTEC’s commitment to honoring veterans while fostering community, respect, and civic responsibility among students.
CTEC extends its gratitude to the veterans who participated: Anthony Noble (Army), David Nelson (Navy), Ricardo Mejia (Army), Raymond Hallmark (Coast Guard), Martin Jimenez (Army), Derek Tisinger (Air Force), Mark Quinn (Navy & Army), and Isaac Monsibais (Army Infantry).
Their presence, stories, and dedication provided inspiration for the next generation, reminding students of the importance of service, sacrifice, and leadership in both the military and their own communities
