The ROC Cafe & Bakery recently received its first food critic review. The March 2022 edition of Bakersfield Life magazine featured a review of Ishani Desai’s dining experience while visiting the cafe for lunch. The reviewer’s comments were nothing but positive about the dining experience and the quality of the food. The ROC Cafe & Bakery was also recently nominated for a Beautiful Bakersfield Award in the category of Architecture & Design. The students and staff in the culinary arts program have worked hard to open the restaurant this school year. It is an honor to be recognized for their hard work by the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce with this nomination. The awards ceremony will be held June 25th at the Mechanics Bank Arena.
