Junior high through college-aged students from throughout Bakersfield were invited to this 3rd annual event. Over 100 local businesses and local educational/training organizations gathered to meet with students and to give them insights into how to break into various careers.
In addition to discussing career pathways with actual employers, students also had the opportunity to attend breakout sessions on Job Interviewing, Landing and Keeping a Job, and Transitioning to Bakersfield College.
Time well spent for not only our Intro to Health Career Students, but for the thousands of other future professionals who were also able to attend.
