The program also features a public service announcement (PSA) scholarship competition, where students create videos educating the public on organ donation facts and how to register to become an organ donor.
For a second year, JJ’s Legacy has partnered with the Video Production program at the Regional Occupational Center. During the month of February, special guest speakers visited the classroom and shared stories and facts with the students. Upon completion of the PSA’s, a panel of community members judged the video projects along with student presentations, and scholarships were awarded to the top two teams in both the AM and PM ROC Video Production sessions.
