Description
On Friday, May 12, 2017 ROC will conduct 24 separate skills competitions (one for each program area) in which over 800 ROC students will compete against their classmates to determine will be their program's 2017 Skills Olympics gold medal champion.
Benefits
This is a great opportunity to see ROC's programs and students up close. No specific experience or knowledge is required. We are seeking all levels of industry insiders within in each of our 24 program areas to serve as judges for this event. Your expertise and willingness to assist will give each competition an air of professionalism and credibility necessary to push our students to the next level of the career technical development.
Requirements
Judges are asked to arrive for a brief orientation followed by our Opening Ceremonies at 7:30am on Friday, May 12 at ROC. Competitions will commence shortly there after and conclude by 10:30am. Judges are encouraged, but not required, to stay for our Awards BBQ from 10:30am to 1pm.
