Evening Dental Assistant

Fee: No cost to high school students; $3,000 for adults.
CTEC’s Dental Assistant program is a one-year course that delivers career-focused instruction. Students are prepared for an entry-level position as a dental assistant with training in patient care, instrumentation, laboratory duties, restorative procedures, and dental specialties. Hands-on training and classroom instruction prepares students with the industry-relevant skills they will need to perform in community classroom and on the job.
About the Teacher:
Stacy Everett graduated with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Assisting and has been a Registered Dental Assistant for 22 years. She has been employed in multi-function general offices, an orthodontic specialty practice, as a Dental Assisting Instructor for a local vocational college, and at a California State prison providing dental services to incarcerated individuals. She is certified in Radiology, Coronal Polish and sealant placement and has experience in IV, and nitrous sedation, oral surgery including implant placement, iTerro digital impression scanning, as well as CEREC and E4D single visit restorations. While she loves all aspects of dentistry, she says teaching is her passion.
