About the Teacher:

Russell Ipekjian is a General Building Contractor who has been in the construction trades industry for 20 years. He has held his California state contractors license for 13 years.  His passions are concrete foundations, roof framing, and fine finish carpentry. Growing up, he was fortunate to have the expert instruction of his father Robert Ipekjian, a General Contractor who operated a small, but successful, contracting business on the Central Coast. My other main influence is his uncle James Ipekjian who operates a fine furniture shop in Pasadena CA.

Mr. Ipekjian has recently been granted a very special opportunity to transfer his knowledge of construction trades and fine furniture to high school students in Kern County. He works full-time as a Construction Trades teacher at Mira Monte High School and the evening class here at ROC.
