Over a two-day period, 780 students from 24 different school sites decended upon our campus. Students first heard brief presentations from current Student Ambassadors on the many different aspects of campus life and what sets us apart from their comprehensive school site.From clubs and competitions to student internships and 3-hour daily class blocks, students got to hear first-hand from their peers who are already living the ROC dream.
But with 31 choices, the question still remained which program is right for me? Not to worry, after the student ambassadors presented their campus overview, visiting students were then dismissed to talk with current students from all 31 programs. Each program had a booth where next year's hopefuls could learn class specifics and gleen real-time testimonials from those currently taking the class.
For many of next year's students this will be an extra-special experience as ROC is in the midst of a major rennovation which will see multiple new and remodeled building on campus as well as the launch of three entirely new programs. Students were afforded the opportunity to walk through the school's main building to glance at both in-progress classes and construction.
The recruitment period for ROC's 2019-2020 school year continues through March 8, 2019. Current sophomores and juniors are encouraged to submit their application prior to that date at roc.kernhigh.org.
