Banking Class Tours Federal Reserve Bank

Over the last few months, ROC Business, Banking, and Finance students have been studying cash flow, how money is made, and how the financial system works. This field trip gave students a chance to see how money moves around the United States, and how it is created and destroyed. Students now, also have a better understanding of how banks and credit unions get their money and where and why they store money with the Federal Reserve.

One of the highlights for students was that their tour guide, one of the Fed's analysts, is a graduate of CSU Bakersfield. When she saw that our students had signed up she put in a special request to lead the tour and she did a wonderful job.

We'd love to show you photos from inside the Fed, but that is strictly against the rules. Guess you'll just need to sign up for the class.
