A kind hearted student, Omar, in the ROC Early Childhood Education program found a baby kitten on the way to school recently. Concerned for the kitten’s life, Omar put the kitten in a small bucket and brought him to ROC, hoping to be able to take it to the animal shelter located next to ROC. Upon arriving at ROC he discovered that the shelter did not open until later that morning so he instead took that kitten back to the Vet Tech class. The Vet Tech students and the instructors quickly jumped into action.
