Busy Days Define Entrepreneurs

The week included 20 students participating in the first-ever Shop Small Fall Student Business Expo on Tuesday night (see accompanying article), the evening students wrapping up their personal finance seminars presented by Chase Bank on Wednesday night, eight of our young ladies participating in Bakersfield College's Women in the Trades day-long field trip while the rest of us learned about patents, trademarks, and copyrights on Thursday morning/afternoon, and 20 students attending Matrix Entrepreneurship Academy's networking mixer at the BC LaunchPad on Thursday evening.

Students have their LinkedIn accounts up and running and are actively networking with one another and the Bakersfield business community both online and in-person.

Just wait until 2nd semester when we really get serious!
