Program Description

In a world of 8 billion people, statistics estimate 258 billion apps will be downloaded by 2022. The Mobile App Development program will prepare you for this exciting career opportunity as you gain critical knowledge in app development, UI/UX design, graphic design, and how the tech startup industry works.


In addition, you will learn the skills necessary to communicate clearly, cooperate within teams, solve logistical problems and turn ideas from concept to final product. Opportunities abound, including the chance to participate in competitions, community tech startup events, and attend field trips related to mobile app development, UI/UX design, and digital marketing.


There are tens of thousands of app development job posts each year, but usually not enough experts to fill all those open positions. So, if you’ve always wanted to learn about mobile app development, now is the time.

High School credit available

Students earn 15 general elective units each semester toward their high school graduation.

College prep course. Meets area “G” approval for UC admission.
