Evening Pharmacy Tech
Location: CTEC
Fee: No cost to high school students; $1,800 for adults.
Program Exception: This program is only open to high school seniors and adults. Juniors may instead take the Introduction to Health Care program.
Our new Pharmacy Tech lab is open and ready to teach students the skills necessary to become employed as a pharmacy technician. After initial classroom training, students also serve an internship at a local pharmacy. Certification opportunities are available in this program. See daytime program page for details.
About the Teacher:
Brande Killion has worked as a Pharmacy Technician for over 26 years. She holds a Pharmacy Technician license with the California State Board of Pharmacy and a license with the State of California Department of Social Services and Community Care Licensing Division as an Administrator for Residential Care for the Elderly.
