ROC's Construction Program 

Learn to build a tiny house from the ground up in this one year program! Develop hands-on skills in various disciplines of commercial and residential construction including electrical wiring, plumbing, framing, roofing, drywall, finish work, and construction management. You will also gain an understanding of safety, the use of hand and power tools, blueprint reading, estimating, and construction industry operations.

Industry-driven curriculum and our state-of-the-art on-campus shop will help prepare you for employment, an apprenticeship training program, community college or a four-year degree institution.

 

HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT AVAILABLE

Students earn 15 elective units each semester toward their high school graduation.

College prep course.  A-G approved.  Meets area “G” approval for UC and CSU admissions.

 

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION OPPORTUNITIES

ROC certifications offered to students completing the Construction pathway include:

  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • S/P2 Safty Certifications
