About the Instructor

  • Instructor at ROC since 2013.
  • California teacher credential in Education, Child Development, and Family Services.
  • BA, Organizational Leadership, Fresno Pacific University with minor in Child Development.
  • 10 years’ experience as Pre-K, Magnet Kindergarten, and Title I reading instructor.
  • 15 years in Special Education as Infant Specialist and Technician for Bakersfield City School District.
  • 12 years as business owner of Tina’s Tot Care and Sweet Chariot Expressions.
  • ROC Teacher of the Year, 2016.
  • Assistant Pastor and Director of Education, Church of God.
  • Member, Professional Women of Kern and Kern Leadership Alliance.
