ROC Announces 2018 Scholarship Winners

Amber Zimmerman, ROC Vet Tech Program

Liberty High School Class of 2018

She’ll attend BC and transfer to UC Davis studying Animal Science. After graduating from college she wants to be a Live Stock Manager.

 

Jaquelin Bonilla, ROC Medical Assistant Program

South High School Class of 2018

She’ll attend Cal State University of LA studying to be a Nurse Practitioner. After graduating from college she wants to be a Pediatrician.

 

Allison Gurnett, ROC Sports Medicine Program

North Kern Christian High School Class of 2018

She’ll attend San Diego State studying Kinesiology with an emphasis as a  Fitness and Health Specialist. After graduating from college she wants to be a Strength and Conditioning Coach for college athletics.

 

Melanie Lopez Sandoval, ROC Dental Assistant Program

Independence High School Class of 2018

She’ll attend UC Santa Barbara studying Bio Chemistry then she’ll attend grad school at San Francisco State. After graduating from college she wants to be a Dentist.

 

Bushra Tairi, ROC Nursing Assistant Program

Highland High School Class of 2018

She’ll attend Cal State University Bakersfield. She has been accepted into the Nursing Program. After graduating from college she wants to be a Pediatrician.

 

Diego Vergara, ROC Business, Banking, & Finance Program

Stockdale High School Class of 2018

He’ll attend BC and then transfer to UC San Jose studying Business Administration & Econ and Finance. After graduating from college he wants to be a Loan Officer and a Business Owner.

 

Brian Andriano, ROC Robotics Engineering

Stockdale High School Class of 2018

He’ll attend BC and then transfer out of state studying Political Science and Public Administration. After graduating college he wants to work in politics and eventually become President of the United States.
